The Toddler room is now in full swing again. The children are learning to adjust to the routine and becoming familiar with the new interns.
We have several areas of the room that the children have been gravitating to. For Emiliano and Khalil, the dinosaurs have been the most interesting. Khalil has demonstrated the ability to name several dinosaurs. We often will find Bennett looking at books or riding a trike around the room. Evelyn and Ava have been in the dramatic play area with the doctor’s office and babies. Evelyn will find the stethoscope to wear around her neck. Aydan enjoys the entire room, but especially books with a teacher and drawing at the easel. Daniel has demonstrated that he can stack several blocks into a tower. DJ can be found in every part of the room. He likes to play on the climber, as well as pushing cars around the room.
Soon the interns will be managing the classroom. They will be creating group times and small groups to implement. They will be greeting you in the mornings and telling you about your child’s day at pick up. Check on the Parent Board on a daily basis to read about the children’s day. If you have any questions during the day, you can ask the interns. If it is something that they can’t address, we will be happy to help.
Reminders:
- Bring in all outdoor clothing. We will be going outside when the temperature (including the wind chill) are above 15.
- Take all artwork from your child’s cubby home on a regular basis.
- Please notify the center if you are not attending for the day.
