Greetings 2’s/3s families!
We would like to welcome all of our families to our classroom two’s/three’s two. We are excited to be working with you and your child.
Introductions
My name is Diane Mathison and I am an NIU graduate with a bachelor’s degree in child development. I have worked at The Child Development and Family Center for 21 years. Most of my time in the classroom has been working with preschool children. This year I’m excited to teach in the younger age group. I love how the children get so excited to learn new things. For those of you who don’t know me, I live with my husband Mark, daughter Ella, son Cameron and cat, Meeko. My daughter Ella is starting High school this fall and my son Cameron will be starting classes at Kishwaukee College. In my spare time I enjoy working in the yard, walking, taking bike rides and spending time with my family and friends.
My name is Kat Dolan and I am so excited to work with you and to be your child’s teacher this year. I am a two-
time NIU graduate: I graduated in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Family and Child Studies with a Child Development emphasis, and again in 2018 with a master’s degree in Applied Human Development and Family Sciences. I have been working with children for 10 years now and this year is my fifth year working at the CDFC. I have a wonderful family that consists of my parents, my brother Lance, and my dog, Doc. Some of my hobbies include reading, listening to music, playing video games, watching movies, and hanging out with my family and my dog. I so look forward to working with and getting to know all of you and your children!
